Mrs.Haley,
I would address you as Governor but you are a disgrace to that title. I would like to thank you for the slap in the face you dealt to me and my ancestors. The flag that so many have said is racist and a symbol of hate is a inanimate object, so how can an inanimate object spread hate I ask? It is a symbol of all the southern men who fought and died in the war. If you had any type of education you would know that the stars and bars is the battle flag of the Confederate Army not the national flag of the CSA! It's representative of the men who gave their life for what they belived in, not the CSA. Did you know the official flag of the CSA looks very similes to Georgia's current flag? So by giving into the ignorance of the masses you are slandering my ancestors character, by implying they were racists. I am offended to say the least, you are incompetent and should removed from office for being a coward. This issues is not something that will just go away and I feel that your actions have only lead to more issues. You can not change the past no matter who it offends, and you can not please everyone. Your state kicked off the war between the states because the leaders then had a backbone and stood up for what's right, it's sad today's leaders of so ignorant and weak. If the fact that something offends people is reason enough to remove it, then I think other things should also be removed.
