I've been thinking about this lately and the more I think about it and see the abuse of the system I believe high fat food should be taxed more. People who smoke pay more taxes when they buy Tabaco products, and luxury items. Potato chips and little Debbie snacks are luxury items; they are not necessities. Whether or not someone it paying buy snap benefits or cash, foods high in fat should cost more.
