Hello my name is Jeff loyd. I am from Anderson, SC. I have been contemplating the future of the confederate flag. I proposed if we could compromise  on the whole situation. Would it be easier for it to be widely accepted as the confederate flag with the white background, which is considered the second official flag, instead of the present flag that seems to be linked to racism?.. the flag with the white field would, or seems to have more historical value and would hopefully dissociate itself from the views of those that link it to racism and recent hate crimes. I love my heritage and South Carolina for  all the good and the bad past  decisions.  I thought I would propose this as an alternative to removing and causing more disturbance in our beautiful state from organizations.  I understand that it is impossible to make both sides of this argument happy. I agree that our state has grown a lot in the past decades and has made progress with the topics at hand. I hope that we all can agree on a compromise of our wonderful heritage. Thank you for your consideration of my opinion on this matter.
