Star Fort Pond near Ninety Six opens April 4

The 27-acre Star Fort Pond near the town of Ninety Six offers fishing for bream, largemouth bass, channel catfish and crappie on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from a half-hour before sunrise to a half-hour after sunset. The reservoir will be open for fishing April 4 through Oct. 31.
