Turner, Jr. Turner Retired North Augusta Public Safety Officer 220 Patricia Dr North Augusta SC 29841 nadps53jrt@comcast.net 8035933917 8036451870 GUNS Carrying Unconcealed Governor, I am a retired North Augusta Public Safety Officer. In Dec. 1993 I was shot in the line of duty 3 times by a suspect. After being shot I was able to return fire killing the suspect. I had to retire due to the gunshot injuries. I take firearms training through NADPS to be able to carry my firearm. However, it has to be concealed. I can pull a firearm better out of a holster then out of my pocket. What I am asking for is to get a certified permit from you to allow me to carry an open firearm. This doesn't mean I will carry it open but it will give me the right when I do. Captain Charles William was my Lieutenant at time of my incident. In 1994 I was awarded as Aiken County Officer of the Year, South Carolina American Legion Officer of the Year and then was named as one of the top 10 cops in America at dinner in D.C. by National Association of Police Organizations. So please, look this over and give me that right. Thank you and God Bless, James Turner
