It seems there there are so few leaders in this country willing to stand up and speak their mind concerning divisive issues, most would rather obfuscate or hide behind political party lines. It was refreshing to hear you speak up and while you may be on the receiving end of a great deal of criticism, please know that there are those of us that not only agree with you but are encouraged by your willingness to speak out. 

While there may in fact be a great deal of anger among the citizenry right now over failed policies and interminable "politics" that block true progress, to take the extreme road for personal gain can only lead to disaster. I understand Mr. Trump's anger but I find his response to that anger abhorrent and frightening. This country needs a leader that can unite us, not one that takes such pleasure in dividing us across political, religious, and racial lines. He has forgotten what made this country great in the first place and his diatribes about making us "great again" are so much wasted breathe. 

I admit that I have been a critic of yours, until last year when I took the time to listen and understand. Hopefully others will also take the time to "listen and understand" and will rally behind you if the fight against extremism, in all of its forms!
