Columbia (AP) - New Corrections Department Director Jon Ominzt has noticed his boss likes to talk about how Wal-Mart does business.

So at a cabinet meeting today, Ozmint gave Sanford a Wal-Mart vest and name tag.

The joke started at a cabinet meeting last month when Sanford held up signs from the discount retailer and praised how it delivered value to customers at a low cost.

Sanford liked his gifts so much he wore them for about half of today's meeting.

Two new Cabinet agency leaders are making sweeping changes in their agencies weeks after being confirmed by the Senate.

Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation Director Adrienne Youmans wants to overhaul the boards and commissions that regulate a variety of professions and occupations from contractors to cosmetologists.

Youmans says people stay on the boards too long. She also says there are not enough people representing the public on the panels.

At the Department of Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Services, director Lee Catoe says he collapsed five deputy positions into two jobs and got rid of 32 agency cell phones.
