Thanks to http://www.schousegop.com/, the new Web site launched by the S.C. House GOP, you could follow it. House Republicans announced the new site Wednesday, saying it would provide an "open window" to the Legislature. "It's awfully important to communicate with constituents on our terms and sometimes its best to not solely rely on the media," said House Majority Leader Jim Merrill, R-Daniel Island. The Web site features: -- Continually updated information about caucus priorities and legislation. -- A calendar of upcoming events and other important dates in the House. -- Immediate access to biographical and contact information about GOP representatives. -- Direct communication on news through available e-mail lists. -- The latest news about Republicans from S.C. newspapers.
