I would like to inform you from the other side of the bars on your Criminal Domestic Violence laws is South Carolina.I was arrested in Dec. 2010 on a charge of Criminal Domestic Violence. Which never happened. My wife's attorney had advised her to make these charges against me to insure that i would not get custody of our son.I had a PI follow her after i got out of jail, and found out she was having an affair wit a man she had met on the internet from California.But due to this law she would be awarded custody of our son.At my preliminary hearing the judge asked the arresting officer why he arrested me his answer was she said she was scared of him. With phone records showing that i had been gone from home for 2 1/2 hours and that she had made 13 phone calls before she called 911. It took 4 1/2 years to get these charges dropped.No wonder SC criminal domestic violence rate is so high And when i got my attorney she said that if i had came to her first we would have done the same thing.This is not right some one has got to do something about this law!
