Please make sure that HB1197 passes WITHOUT the Senate amendments -- m= aking restaurant awareness training a state requirement. Over 300,000 Marylanders have food allergies. Many of us who must manage th= em are reluctant to dine out for fear of a serious reaction -- depriving us= of the satisfaction and restaurants of millions of dollars in revenue. Thi= s legislation would offer the training and understanding that will give us = more assurance in restaurant dining. The legislation is pending in the Health Committee.
