TODAY AT THE STATE HOUSE

A quick look at what’s going on today at the State House:

• In the House — Convenes at 10 a.m.

• In the Senate — Convenes at 2 p.m.

• Elsewhere — Gov. Mark Sanford will hold a news conference at 12:30 p.m. at the State House to make a Cabinet appointment.

Also, the Carolina Peace Resource Center will hold a memorial at 5 p.m. for Rachel Corrie, a human rights activist who died in the Gaza Strip; State House grounds, Gervais and Main streets.
