Governor Nikki:
I am writing in response to an audit from your Unemployment State Commission Auditing me for me drawing unemployment for the first time at 57 years old. I have worked since I was 15 years old.  First off I was only allowed a little over 6,000.00 that in itself was pitiful. I have worked all my life raising a child and never receiving anything from the Government. No Food Stamps No Welfare I worked 2 jobs and put my son alone through college. He is a Deputy and puts his life on the line each day for the South Carolina people. He is an upstanding citizen. I have always been a hard worker. I was audited and they said I made 139.00 too much that I did not turn in. At least I worked and that is more than most people. I took at HUGE cut and excepted a job and living off of a 25 hour job because my unemployment was running out. I am living off of 14.00/25 hours/week.  Does our State need money that bad they would ask me to pay this back and be penalized.  Maybe this office needs to be audited. I am asking if you could please help me I am trying to keep my head above water and I am doing it on my own. I am single and there is no man in my life except God!  Does our state need it that bad.
