I just read an article about South Carolina possibly spending $5 million on a new room for displaying the confederate flag. I hope this is not true. I am not a political or financial person but it sure seems like we could use that money for state road and bridge repairs or for helping schools in need. I know the flag is a part of this states history, not a very good part of its history, but it seems like going way overboard to spend that kind of money on that kind of project.
