The purpose of this communication is to voice my opinion: It IS time to take down the confederate symbol of hatred, slavery, persecution, and terror that is flying on any government building. The very appearance of that flag attached to the government of any City, County or State office is a clear endorsement of the division between white radicals who teach and encourage hatred toward everyone of color.  Take down those flags and be a positive example for all southern states who are hanging on to hatred and anger.  This is not the civil war era and the repulsive flag is a daily reminder of the torture of African Americans that continues today in your city and state.  Hatred is taught and that disgusting flag is a symbol of racism. What are you thinking? Take down that flag immediately and be an example of healing for all of your citizens. There is NO valid reason whatsoever to fly that flag.  Take your heads out of the past and heal yourselves. Be a leader. Thank you.
