This email is to voice my opinion in the matter of allowing refugees from the Middle East onto South Carolina soil. Due to recent terror attacks in France and Lebanon, we cannot allow them to take refuge here. I realize there is no way to distinguish a terrorist from any other person, but for that very reason, they should not be welcome here. Several counties in the state have banned refugees, and the state as a whole should follow. With Daniel Island, South Carolina being on a "ISIS Kill List" our state should be on high alert, and not allow anyone from the Middle East to come here. The President does not take any initiative in making our safety top priority and has sat back for too long on the ISIS issues. All the states need to to take action for their own defense and no longer make our country a safe haven for terrorists.
