Celebrate the Holidays at the Greenville Farmers Market on Rutherford Road

Greenville, SC--Farmers and local craftsmen will be hosting a Saturday market each morning until Christmas at the Greenville Farmers Market. In addition to the Saturday market, Robison Farms is open Monday thru Friday 7:30a.m.– 6 p.m., and Saturday 6:30a.m-6p.m.

It’s an experience of old time tradition that is cultivated by the sights and smells of the market.

"Shoppers will find hand roped garland, wreaths made to order, poinsettias, Christmas trees, boiled peanuts, jams, jellies, and fresh brewed coffee at the market during the holiday season," said Jack Watson, manager of the farmers market.

There will be homemade bread, cookies, and other baked goods, honey and beeswax candles from the Greenville Beekeepers Association, fresh stone-ground corn meal, old time candy, winter vegetables, organic produce, cole crops, and fruit gift baskets.

Robison Farms also has a number of electrically operated nutcrackers on hand for folks that are harvesting their pecans.

"Last year we had a good crop of pecans in this area, and we got a lot of use out of the machines," said Gene Conwell of Robison Farms. "We hope to do the same this year."
