I am a wife, mother, grandmother and a college student in my Masters Program at Walden University for Healthcare Administration and have researched and developed a healthy solution that I would like to launch a pilot program and present to you and your administration to decrease obesity and control diabetes along with other chronic health issues that can be controlled by providing healthier food choices. I would like to present a healthy solution to those on food assistance and WIC with nutritional food alternatives for their family that they will order weekly and pick up their box of food with recipes. They will have to participate and meet with their primary care for weight and measurements. I will be working with a nutritionist and maintaining data that will be measured to prove that this pilot program with decrease healthcare cost in the community and lower the obesity percentage in the State of South Carolina. This is a very short draft of my presentation and would appreciate the opportunity to meet with you in person with my complete plan and show my passion that I have to lower the obesity percentage in our great State of South Carolina and decrease the cost of healthcare.
