My name is Jeff. I am a veteran of Iraqi Freedom and several other middle eastern operations. I would like to know if it is possible to remove the SC State Income Tax on military retirement pay. Our state hoses several key military bases in our armed forces. I think it would be great if they could stay in the state of SC and have their retirement pay tax free. I know people that have moved on to other stat s for this reason. There are still people who would like to move to SC bit don't want to because they feel like ther are paying more taxes then where they are now. Thanks for looking in to this.
