Governor Mark Sanford is facing criticism about his economic policies from U-S Representative Gresham Barrett.
Barrett told The Greenville News that Sanford could do more to bring jobs to the state.
The Republican congressman said he had "reached out time and time and time again" to work with the governor, but that Sanford responded only "to a certain degree."
Sanford's spokesman says the governor has made strides in improving the economy by bringing in high-paying jobs and focusing on small businesses.
