The idea of a loop is great as long as there is access for a constant flow of traffic. Currently there are two business there that are holding this project up due to them needing to be demolished for 501 to be expanded. Not to mention the idea of if the City passes the bill to proceed with expansion, the process could begin within 3-5 years. Why so long? The downtown area on business 17 that got remodeled or "beautification" as it was called from your office in 2014 was great (sidewalk expansion, clearer medians and repaved roads". How long did it take to move on that project, guessing not 3-5 years. This falls into the same category but with even a greater impact. If passed why not move on the issue quicker rather than later 3-5 years (due to it being made a possible current politically hot Bike Fest issue) The matter of expansion is just a heads up for a few moves ahead and a look at another way that you could have a great impact on how Bike Fest goes. It all starts with how easily it flows.
