I do want you to understand how deeply disappointed I am in your veto of the safe moped bill for several reasons: 1) many moped drivers are either underage or have had their license revoked making them a danger to themselves and other drivers 2) many moped drivers do not obey traffic laws 3) most moped drivers do not respect other drivers or other vehicles on the road. just today I was the 11th car behind a moped running 20-25 miles per hour in a 45 mph speed zone and there were just as many cars behind me and to make matters worse he had a bike lane he could have been in and this is not the exception it happens quiet often 4) why should a moped driver get off so easy? I ride a motorcycle and for that a drivers license is not good enough, I have to have a special motorcycle license, I also must carry insurance, I also have to pay taxes and buy a tag for my bike. why should I have to pay to ride my bike on the road and by the way I do not hold up or obstruct traffic, but a moped driver does not need any type of license, insurance or registration. If putting tags, insurance and registration on mopeds is a governmental overreach then I'll be excepting you to do away with these regulations for other motorcycles in the next few days. Please let me know your reasoning for your preference to moped drivers. Thank you, Robert Watson 75.139.76.121
