DSS and Gateway Elementary over stepped their rights when yesterday they pulled my girlfriends daughter out of lunch to ask her questions.  What we would like to know is why there was no contact/attempt at contact prior to the questioning. If the questioning anything to do with either of us we would understand but neither of us were the cause of the investigation. There is NO REASON why she, having sole custody of her daughter was not asked for permission or even told about the questioning.  Even now no one has made any attempt to contact us. Because of these actions part of a little girls innocence has been stripped from her by South Carolina. We also found out that the "Social Worker" was in the room by her alone which is completely inappropriate for anyone to allow other than the parent to grant.  DSS has no "record" of sending anyone but the Social Worker who sent them was SUMMER DROMMOND. DEBORAH BOWLES is the one that allowed at the school. I was trying to get this situation resolved going through the proper channels before I start exploring other options such as News outlets across SC and the United States or having my lawyer take Legal action.  I would like a quick response to my concerns and also like to know what is happening about fixing the problem they have already created and what is happening about keeping this from aspiring again.  There is NO REASON why if we were not the cause of the investigation why we would not have been contacted, if for nothing else so that if there was any abuse going on we could prevent any future abuse from happening. There also NO REASON why now we are having to swing back and forth with answering questions she now has about topics she should not nor why we are having to soothe a child from crying when we ask her questions about what happened in the interview, ALONE, WITH A STRANGER, WHOM NO ONE CAN TELL US A NAME!!!
