I currently do have this license as required by law and the SCDNR. I have questioned the SCDNR and their staff about why I am the ONLY ONE in Spartanburg County whom has this license? (told to me by DNS staff). I have requested this to be forwarded to the SCDNR Director however I have never heard back from them (1 year or more now). My last communications with this department, I was told that the State did not have the manpower to enforce this law in Spartanburg. After checking with Stores (retail is free) they don't even have this license in which I am charged for and have. I personally know 4-20 stores in Spartanburg that sell fish with no DNR license of any kind. I also know Many People in Columbia and the surrounding areas whom do NOT have this license either. They ALL sell fresh fish as I do and purchase it from the same or similar vendors. If this law is correct, WHY do I pay and NO ONE ELSE. If it is correct, WHY IS IT NOT ENFORCED! This is FOOD! I can talk in person because typing is too hard for me, I am disabled. Brian Leiter 68.187.193.101
