Dear Governor Haley,

Operation HAVOC (Helping All Veterans Overcome Challenges) is a newly formed nonprofit charitable organization dedicated to America's homeless military men and women. This letter is to outline the organization's Mission, Vision, and Core Values; and, most importantly, to raise awareness and to ask your office for an allocation of funds to assist this most worthy cause. 

MISSION:  To assist and enable homeless American veterans through motivation and empowerment to achieve lasting positive change in their lives.

VISION: 
 Moving people, changing lives.
 Envisioning a nation without homeless veterans.
 Helping men and women who are able to successfully transition from the streets to being independently able to achieve the American dream.

CORE VALUES: 
 Integrity - The #1 Core Value: Without integrity, there is no true meaning; do what is right at all times, under any circumstances, no matter who is watching, simply because that is what is right. 
 Commitment to doing duties well; being respectful, honorable, positive, inspiring, transparent and accountable to those men and women who require our help.

 Efficiency and flexibility calls for having an adjustable mindset that adapts to the ever-changing environment we live and work in.

This organization was formed by retired First Sergeant Shawn R. Herzog; his hard work and dedication has made this organization successful - but there is much more to be accomplished. 

Accomplishments To Date:
As of December 21, 2015, Operation HAVOC has accumulated military surplus goods and items totaling over 800 pieces via donation - distributed to over 120 homeless individuals and veterans. This organization's volunteers have accumulated donated funds in the amount of $5,045 to purchase needed items to provide to our homeless veterans.
