I commend you on the formation of a task force seeking citizen's input regarding the way forward to address and reduce CDV, &amp violence of any type. I am opposed to legislation which significantly changes the current laws without addressing the bigger issues of educating citizens, assuring that they have actual detail knowledge of laws which might affect them,and providing intervention programs open to anyone who needs help and guidance to prevent domestic disturbances from escalating into serious matters.
