I had the pleasure of meeting for you and your husband at a Darius Rucker charity event in Charleston. So enjoy meeting both of you real people.
South Carolina roads in terrible shape, the $400,000,000 surplus in budget should cover expense.   These $ should be put in a reserve for a hurricanes.
Don't believe it, roads in terrible shape .  Hopefully someone has looked at the expensed to bring infrastructure up to safe conditions.  I would think with condition and population growth it would cost billions over next 10 years.
Know you are against gas tax without a tax reduction.  Know how expense conservative you are and appreciate it.
This past weekend my wife and came home from our house in North Carolina,  gas was $.80 more.  I believe after Alaska we have the lowest gas tax.  Think of all of the out of state drivers use our roads and unlike some other states with toll fees pay nothing to use our roads.
Some times you need not to say you re thought it said you rethought gas tax with new information  available and let people who use roads pay for them.
You do a great job and as I said in conversation with you and your husband you handled the food boy club wonderfully.
