King St. Honolulu HI 96817 18MLopez@gmail.com JUDI George Stinney's Case Dear Nikki Haley, My name is Marz Lopez, a student attending Farrington Highschool. I am writing to you to not reopen the George Stinney's case. The George Stinney case should not be reopen because we should learn from it and use what we learned for future cases. Another reason why the case should not be opened because back then there wasn't a law for this but now there is. Lastly, most of George Stinney's family is dead. You should agree with me because I read an article about George Stinney and I have researched similar cases like Trayvon Martin and Jordan Davis. Although, some may say the case was unfair because the jury was all white but color does not mean they are 100% biased. How would you feel of being accused of discriminating others just from your color / race? Thank you for considering my request to not reopen George Stinney's case. Sincerely, Marz Lopez
