Title 8, Section 1182 of the U.S. Code provides in relevant part: Whenever the President finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate. Jimmy Carter used this to prohibit Iranians from coming to the US during the hostage crisis and had 15,000 Iranian students here on visa rounded up and many sent back to Iran. Not only is barring Muslim immigrants and refugees "legal" and "Constitutional", it's the right thing to do. You and Lindsey Graham need to start working for the home team. If anything is "unconstitutional", it's the refugee program itself. The Constitution only delegates to the Federal Government the right to establish UNIFORM rules of immigration and the responsibility of enforcing those rules was left up to the STATES, not the federal government.
