<WFUD_Request>Hello I have run out of Options to find help with Disability discriminations since moving to SC, Both myself and my wife are Permanently disabled I suffer from PTSD, ADHD and some physical disabilities related to my former employment, My Wife Suffers from  Pseudotumor cerebri that has caused her to become Legally blind in both eyes, We moved to Oconee county do retire and to bring my wife closer to her family whom live in Seneca and Fairplay, since moving here we have run into issues securing housing because of my wife's Service animal we have heard everything from demands for Certification papers proof of Disability the list of excuses not to rent to use grows each time we contact both private and Property management agencies, I personally have been turned away because of my disability because I have issues with crowds and get stressed being accused of being "on something" just because I can seem spaced because it's how I deal with my issue's that also includes ADHD, our current place of residence has broken numerous laws with Landlord tenant laws including giving us notices that are pre dated such as our new lease they drew up a week ago but only delivered it 1 day ago with major changes to the terms to our terms such as a rent increase that only goes up if we pay with any form of credit or debit card, also Highlighting a required $250.00 deposit for the Service animal that they knew about since we moved in this is our 3rd lease with them, I don't know if this change is legal but they knew we were smokers and the new lease states we are no longer allowed to smoke inside or we will be fined $1000.00!! I know smoking is bad and we are both trying to quit, this new lease only gives us 5-6 days to review or move with a 30 day notice, we can't find a place being stuck in leases without losing our deposit and having a black mark made against us, we thought after the second lease expired we were permanently month to month because it expired 2 months ago but it seems when they found we were using this time to seek a better place they demanded we sign a new lease! We have had a Complex run our credit 3 times in 2 days after paying them their $60 fee to do a credit check this hurt our already less than perfect credit Being On SSDI and only getting about $900 each a month makes things hard enough but what some of these landlords are doing is immoral and unethical the ones we have found so far that we can afford have in one way or another discriminated against us, I cant wait until our Great Day in South Carolina! Please help us with these issues we don't know where to go or who to talk to? our situation has a lot more to it but I don't know how to explain it in a email I am willing to talk to someone if someone will listen? The issues with our current housing I am afraid to take action because we have no were else to go!</WFUD_Request>
