In the bible Psalms 122 says "pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they that love thee shall prosper.  Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.  For my brethren and companions' sakes, I will say now, peace be within thee.  For the House of the Lord our God I will seek thy good"  We hear speeches about biblical floods from people.  We have prayer breakfasts with our fellow citizens.  We will say God inspired the law of the lands in America.  However, we have not had a sitting constitutional officer go to Israel from this state in a very long time.  We have difficulties in all forms that sometimes don't just tear down our homes, they tear down our hearts.  We don't journey back often enough physically to our Judeo-Christianity's Holy Land to humorlessly request to our God.  There was a Tampa Bay Times article about Florida's 44th Governor Charlie Crist making a trip back to Jerusalem's Western Wall to pray for a successful Florida from 2007-2015.  Florida did not have any hurricanes during those years and other problems were out of sight as well.  We can be as rich, powerful, popular, and historic as we would like to, but there is nothing like visiting the land where humankind's best friend Jesus grew up.  We can break records in the public and private sector, and pass new laws, but all the glory should be given to God.  The highest priority for our government officials should be the well-being of our citizens in respect to legal,moral, and spiritual responsibilities.  The Supreme Protector is God and we cannot shun him.
