A busy week



The schedule for the South Carolina delegation at this week’s Democratic National Convention:

Today

• 5-7 p.m. — Welcome party, Museum of the National Center for Afro-American Artists

Monday

• 7:45-10 a.m. — South Carolina delegation breakfast, Boston Marriott Copley Place Hotel

• 11 a.m.-1 p.m. — South Carolina brunch honoring U.S. Sen. Fritz Hollings, Cheers restaurant and bar

• 1:30-3 p.m. — Boston Duck Tour, narrated historic tour in authentic World War II amphibious vehicles through the streets of Boston and into the Charles River.

• 4-11 p.m. — Democratic National Convention, FleetCenter

Tuesday

• 7:45-10 a.m. — South Carolina delegation breakfast, Boston Marriott Copley Place Hotel

• 10:30 a.m.-noon — Historical tour of Harvard University

• 3:30-5 p.m. — S.C. Democratic Party fund-raiser honoring David Rudd, executive director of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee and Hollings’ former chief of staff; proceeds go to the state party

• 4-11 p.m. — Democratic National Convention, FleetCenter

Wednesday

• 7:45-10 a.m. — South Carolina delegation breakfast, Boston Marriott Copley Place Hotel

• 1-3 p.m. — John F. Kennedy Library tour

• 4-11 p.m. — Democratic National Convention, FleetCenter

• 11 p.m.-1 a.m. — South Carolina reception honoring former Democratic National Committee chairman Don Fowler, Boston Marriott Copley Place Hotel

Thursday

• 7:45-10 a.m. — South Carolina delegation breakfast, Boston Marriott Copley Place Hotel

• 4-11 p.m. — Democratic National Convention, FleetCenter
