<WFUD_Request>I have a problem with the child support agency in Columbia S.C.  I moved here several years ago from Floriday but S.C. show me as owing child support.  Everytime I telephone they confirm it is a mistake but nobody ever fixes it.

I have written a letter which I sent to Katie C Morgan but she informs me she no longer holds the position of Director of Child support Servies.

Can you please tell me where I should send my letter - where it will get results to get this mess finally sorted out?   My wife's brother is getting married in England this year and I desperately need to get my passport but cannot until this is sorted!

Here is a copy of my letter, obviously without the attachements.

Child support - Cassandra S Smith  (Father:  Michael B Smith Mother: Korin J Whiteley)

I am at a loss who to contact with an ongoing problem relating to unpaid child support for my daughter named above.   My child support is not in arrears but somehow between Florida and South Carolina there is confusion which I cannot get sorted.

1.	 On April 10th, 2013 a Motion for Forgiveness of Arrears was filed (copy attached)

2.	 Since this date child support has been paid.   These were either paid through work or via a personal money order. Copies of the Personal money orders are available upon request but as there are so many of them I am not attaching them to this letter.  Your records should show payments from Three Rivers Hospital, Old Navy (also known as GAP) and currently J C Penny.

3.	I have had money taken by the SC Child Support Services from two bank accounts for arrears that were not owed.  (around $2,000)

4.	Every year my Federal taxes are taken . for child support I do not owe.

5.	Every year I get notified that I am losing my Driving Licence because of owed Child Support.  I make the same phone calls and am told I do not owe anything and the order to rescind my Driving Licence is cancelled.

6.	I cannot apply for a passport . because I am shown as owing Child Support.

I have contacted the Clerk of Courts in both Florida and South Carolina as well as provided paperwork from Tallahassee to South Carolina on several occasions.   As there are actually no arrears on my child support, perhaps SC Child Support could please let me know where the money from my bank account and Federal Taxes has gone every year.      

Please let me know what I have to do to sort this out, I am happy to provide any paperwork you require and Korin Whiteley (the mother of Callasandra) is willing to confirm everything in this letter as true, her contact details are shown on the Motion for Forgiveness of Arrears.  Korin has been extremely helpful to me going along to the Clerk of Court in Florida several times to try and sort this out.  

Lastly, I have also been charged considerable interest for the monies that in fact I do not owe and expect a refund of this.
