It's safety assurances have proven false in California, The Gulf Coast, and Alaska. The environment in each of these places has suffered greatly primarily due to human error which will never be eliminated. Why would South Carolina and, in particular, our Governor want to gamble our future on this 20th Century solution to our Nation's energy needs? We have more Oil and Gas than we need for the next several decades. We might as well start searching for Coal in the South Carolina mountains! Isn't it time that South Carolina politicians start exploring 21st Century solutions to our needs? It would be desirable to finally be on the leading edge of change.
