The goal of this effort is to call attention to the importance of infrastructure investment and the need for a long-term surface transportation authorization bill. Real, long-term job creation comes with predictable funding, so that transit agencies and businesses can do better long-term growth planning. As you know, the economic benefit that comes with infrastructure investment is indisputable.
