Gastroparesis affects over 5million people in USA alone. Its called "silent killer"-parylized stomach" because people look fine but dying inside. We deal with pain 24/7, nausea, vomiting, puree foods, if you can even eat. In my case very little by mouth and on feeding tube 12hrs per day. Malnutrition and mal- absorption. It is not cureable and very little treatment. People are dying inside. We have three bills bills we are petitioning before congress,H.R.2311 is in house sub-committee awaiting ammendments then a vote before full house. Mark Sanford is involved with me. We need more co-sponsors. I am requesting you proclaim the Month of August as Gastroparesis Awareness Month. We need to get word out out.A friend went to a meeting before Senate and most people hadn't heard of our disease. H.r.2311 is asking for more funding for research, developement and funding. Please consider my request. Many GPers suffer in silence, having no hope. I know many in SC. You can help us, people with motility disorders. You can help us spread awareness!! Many states already have proclamation. Won't you please join them? Thanks for consideration and please respond? I am a conservative republican and appreciate all you have done for SC.
