I am a custodian at Boiling Springs Elementary School, Boiling Springs, SC. As you may know or not know, we used chemicals to clean and need a certain amount of air-circulation. At three o'clock each day the air is cut off except in the offices. The same thing happens in the summer. During the summer we do all detail cleaning of classrooms, furniture, and floors. Everything has to be cleaned for the next year. The people responsible for cutting the air off are sitting in air condition offices and have no clue as to the effect it has on the cleaning people. I wonder if they even care. I have been told that each dollar that they can manage to save means a bonus for each of them. Does that mean more than the health and safety of the workers. I don't know if I will have a job if the officials at school find out that I have written to you, but if it helps the rest of the team, so be it. Thank you for your service and your time.
