I'm writing you today because my wife, Abney Kay, and I have just went through the first temporary custody hearing against my wife's parents concerning our two year old daughter. Going into this hearing, we were aware that we did not have the funds to afford an attorney to represent us in our struggle to get her back. Being parents is our life. 3 years ago we lost our first child in a stillbirth, and now we are fighting to regain parental rights to our second and last child. If you can help us we can provide all of the evidence we have that proves we are great parents and we do everything we can to provide a safe and happy home for our little girl. We also believe judge Smithdeal was in partial to my wife's step father, based on the fact that the judge practices law in Greenwood County and my wife's stepfather has worked for Greenwood County Sheriff's Department for over eighteen years. We had no chance going into the court room this morning. My wife and really need this help and we will be very grateful for your assistance. We look forward to hearing from you.
