Good day! As a current paramedic in this state,I'd like to meet/discuss the well being of our hero's that risk thier lives everyday by running towards the screams as everyone else flees. Over the past few years I've lost countless friends. Some at the hands of others, but mostly at thier own hands. This letter quite possibly could have been sent by another as that I myself came within 2 months of losing this battle. I merely request help to save the lives of the life savers. I don't care about any legislation on the books. I'm tired of watching my fellow collegues needlessly die from the mental trauma we endure daily. We(public safety) responders take care of our own, I guarantee I could ask for help on the other side of the country and my brothers and sisters would be there in any way they coukd, but is it the right kind of help? We don't expect the state to take care of us, we just need the tools to do so ourselves. We need the voice and quite frankly I would love some imput from your office. I'm trying to gather a group of highly trained, exceptional leaders in the field and hope to gain support by others with similar goals in the state and country. PLEASE, PLEASE, reach out and contact me for an audience. I'd even settle for a phone call.
