Marketing Opportunity at Plant and Flower Festivals
(COLUMBIA)---The South Carolina Department of Agriculture is looking for a few, good men---and women---temporary, seasonal retailers and wholesalers---to market plants and flowers and lawn and garden-related products.
Veteran and beginner marketers are invited to double their pleasure and double their fun at two Fall Plant and Flower Festivals---one in Columbia and one in Florence.
The Pee Dee Fall Plant and Flower Festival will be held Friday-Sunday, October 6-8, 2000, at the Pee Dee State Farmers Market, 2513 West Lucas Street in Florence. The Midlands Fall Plant and Flower Festival will be held Friday-Sunday, October 20-22, 2000, at the Columbia State Farmers Market, 1001 Bluff Road in Columbia. Hours for both festivals will be 8am to 6pm, Friday-Saturday, and 1pm to 6pm on Sunday.
The South Carolina Department of Agriculture Plant and Flower Festivals are great seasonal direct agri-marketing outlets. Through these festivals, marketers sell directly to consumers. The festivals are open to the public, and admission is free. But, exhibit space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. So, plan early! The time is NOW to reserve space.
