Greiner Committee Member Boy Scouts of America, Troop 213 6 Oak Hill Lane Bluffton SC 29910 greinersuz@aol.com 8438152911 LETT Eagle Scout Commendation Request Dear Governor Haley, Boy Scout Troop 213 is proud to announce the promotion of Sean Greiner to the rank of Eagle Scout. He is the 17th young man to earn the rank of Eagle from our troop! Sean has been an active scout since he was 10 years old, diligently working on all the requirements to ultimately attain the rank of Eagle Scout including earning a minimum of 21 merit badges, countless community service hours, and many nights camping! His hard work culminated with a community service project at Okatie Elementary school in Okatie, South Carolina. Sean built an outdoor library to assist in getting books into children's hands at all times of the year in order to promote childhood literacy. His project included 4 'book boxes' with the themes of various children's books and a pergola with benches for reading. Because of his hard work and dedication, I am inquiring as to the possibility of a letter of commendation from your office. If you so desire, the letter should be addressed to: Sean M. Greiner for presentation at his Eagle Court of Honor in February, 2015. The letter should be mailed in my care to the address above. I thank you for taking the time to encourage this young man of character. With best regards, Thomas Greiner Troop 213 Committee Member
