Dear Governor
Haley,
Please end delays on complying with the Clean Power Plan and
advancing
clean energy. We already have years ahead of us to try to
stop/reverse
the damage that has been done. I am thrilled that the
potential threat
of off-shore drilling has been stayed.... hopefully
permanently.
Without measures like the Clean Power Plan to cut
carbon pollution, the
forecast for wildlife is dire. Last year was the
hottest year on
record, beating out 2014 and continuing a disturbing
trend that has
wildlife feeling the heat.
The Clean Power Plan
is a critical step to our success in protecting
wildlife from climate
change and charting the course for a clean energy
future.
Do not
delay further. I urge you to please start implementing the
Clean Power
Plan now.
