Subject: USO 75th Anniversary Proclamation

Katherine – I do not know who to pass this to, but know you will be able to point me in the right direction.  The USO celebrates its’ 75th Anniversary on the 4th of February.   They would like to get the Governor to sign a Proclamation to recognize 75 years of service.  I asked them and they provided a sample to make the process easier.  Is there any possibility of getting this processed and signed prior to the 4th?  Thanks!

Happy New Year! I’m emailing for your help and political savvy.

 

As you know, the USO will be celebrating our 75th anniversary on Thursday, 4 February. Do you two think Governor Haley and Mayor Benjamin would make a proclamation declaring that USO day/ week/ month? How should we go about requesting that?

 

We will be hosting a celebration of sorts on the 4th at the airport, and we would of course invite both of them to attend. Details to follow this week on that.
