My name is Griffin, and I currently live in both Beaufort, SC and Charleston, SC; work and school keep me commuting between the cities every week. I'm a 26 year old male, and I'll be going off to graduate school in the coming year. I'm writing you because I'd like your thoughts on something. In short, I'm growing very concerned about the lack of social conservative values among peers of my age group (21-28). Is there hope for social conservatism to regain ground, or is it a losing battle? I've scoured the internet, and each source I've found has indicated social conservatives are losing their foothold. I think of the moral decay that is sweeping the country, and it is no doubt accompanied with a wavering belief in God; my generation vehemently despises any with religious beliefs (I've witnessed this first-hand), yet praises those who denounce or insult others' faith in God. These numbers only appear to be growing, too. I'm truly worried-- please keep fighting for us South Carolinians who believe in conservative ideals. Thank you for reading my letter. I hope to hear back from you. I saw your picture on the wall in Taste of India restaurant in Charleston-- that's one of my favorite restaurants! Sincerely, Griffin
