Baker-provided he accepts the challenge) as interim president; 2) Allow interim president to select a temporary (with permanent possibilities) cabinet & other relevant staff (hopefully some will volunteer); 3) Dissolve the current BOT; 4) Establish/Appoint a board consisting of statewide successful business/educational professionals; 5) Complete an in-depth incoming financial audit; 6) Allow assessment/trouble shooting time for new staff; 7) Identify & hire a future president who will work with interim president & staff; 8) Begin identifying potential new BOT members. 9) Provide operating cost as recommended by newly involved personnel. Closing this institution would be a travesty & embarrassment to this great state of SC. Orangeburg may become a ghost town of sort. Thanks for your expeditious attention & concerns for this matter.
