My name is Savannah Marsh and I am a freshman at Clemson University. I am currently working on a project for my Women's Studies class about what politicians are doing to get young girls interested in politics. I am reaching out to you as the first woman governor of South Carolina and as a part of the Clemson family. I was hoping to get more information about what you are doing specifically to encourage girls to participate in politics. Also, I know that you were inspired by Hillary Clinton to run for office, do you feel like you have a responsibility to inspire other girls to pursue a political career path? Sorry to ask for such a quick response, but my project is due Tuesday April 12. I would greatly appreciate a response to include in my research. Thanks for your time. Go Tigers!
