In 1980, the U.S. resettled more than 200,000 refugees, showing that where there's a will, there's a way. I want to express my gratitude to World Relief Spartanburg for the work they have been doing in welcoming refugees to the Upstate and hope to see our U.S. Congress, Senate, and the White House continue to support this historically bi-partisan effort that has been a staple of American's compassion. I am ready, willing and able to welcome refugees into my community.
