South Carolina cares about the victims of the tragedies of September 11 in New York and Washington, D.C. And South Carolina cares about the disaster relief efforts to assist families and communities recovering from these horrendous events.

In response, Governor Hodges has established the South Carolina Cares fund. This fund will be used to help families, communities and rescue workers as well as local, state and federal governments affected by these acts of terrorism.
