It is wrong on every level. I live in Utah, there are coyotes in the mountains and at the base of the mountains. They keep rodents and rabbits under control. Those with animals must take measures to protect their own animals - that is the responsibility of animal ownership. Why you would want to release coyotes into your state and then make them targets is poor thinking. If you need to earn money for the state, find another way - something that does not harm any animal. Please. This whole hunt is a very ill-conceived idea and makes you in company with those who are destroying animals for profit - not good company to keep.
