Democratic Presidential Debate Coming to Columbia
(Columbia-AP) -- The South Carolina Democratic Party and Young Democrats will hold a presidential debate just days before the
state's February 3rd primary.

State Democratic Party Chairman Joe Erwin says the debate will be at 7 p.m., January 29th, two days after the New Hampshire primary and five days before South Carolina's first-in-the-South
primary.

Candidates planning to attend include former Vermont Governor Howard Dean, North Carolina Senator John Edwards, Florida Senator Bob Graham, Missouri Representative Dick Gephardt, Connecticut
Senator Joe Lieberman and former Illinois Senator Carol Moseley Braun.

The campaigns of Massachusetts Senator John Kerry, Ohio Representative Dennis Kucinich and the Reverend Al Sharpton have not yet confirmed.

The site of the debate has not been announced.

The nine Democratic presidential candidates also gathered in Columbia in May for another televised debate.
