Subject: Week of April 9, 2007

Good Afternoon,

No job is perfect. Sometimes necessity demands that we devote an inordinate percentage of our time to the least enjoyable aspects of our job. For me, the past 6 weeks have been like that.

Dealing with certain personalities can be draining. But, allowing others to negatively affect our performance or our attitude is a losing proposition. I am not always successful, but I try to use these times to improve my performance in those areas: I try to live above negativity and personal agenda.

Anyway, I hope to be out and about more often within the next two weeks. I look forward to seeing you and seeing the improvements in your institutions and operations.

Thank you for your hard work.
